Casper Network Halts Operations Due to Security Breach

Casper Network, a smart contract blockchain platform, announced through X that it has stopped its network operations due to security vulnerabilities.
In a statement to Casper Network users and the broader crypto community, the Casper team noted that it has worked with the validator to halt operations and mitigate the potential impact of the breach.
“We have discovered a significant security vulnerability in the Casper network. To minimize the impact of this security vulnerability, we have worked with validators to halt the network until this security vulnerability is patched.
Security Breach Contained
Casper added that the temporary network suspension will remain in place until the security team fixes the vulnerability.
According to the announcement, efforts to resolve this issue involve the Casper Association, Casper Labs, and the crypto project’s validator community.
