College students drugged in Mexico
Two Oklahoma college students, Kaylie Pitzer and Zara Hull, found themselves in a terrifying situation while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico. Allegedly drugged at a pool bar, the young women collapsed suddenly, leading to a series of harrowing events that left their families fearing for their lives.
Desperate attempts to seek medical help
After collapsing, Hull was rushed to a private hospital where she began convulsing due to the drugs, suspected to be synthetic fentanyl. Her boyfriend, Jake Snider, was by her side in the intensive care unit, but faced challenges in accessing her room and ensuring her safety. The families were desperate for answers and struggled to navigate the unfamiliar healthcare system in a foreign country.
Rescue and recovery
With suspicions of potential human trafficking and organ harvesting lingering, the families raced against time to secure Hull’s safe transfer to a hospital in Dallas. After a harrowing ordeal, she was finally released from the hospital, but the financial burden of medical expenses loomed large. Pitzer and her boyfriend also managed to reunite with their families and begin the process of recovery and healing.
Throughout this traumatic experience, the families remained resilient and determined to bring their loved ones back home, shedding light on the dangers of drug-related incidents in tourist destinations and the importance of vigilance and preparedness while traveling abroad.
