The Rise of the “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles”
Friends of the so-called “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles” accused of supplying the drugs that killed Matthew Perry say she seemed “carefree” and had maintained an active social life in the days before her arrest.
“If anything, she has become more social over the past few months,” a longtime friend who has known Jaswin Sangha for many years told The Washington Post.
“She looked carefree, like she didn’t have a care in the world.”
A Lifestyle of Luxury and Intrigue
In the days before his arrest, Sangha visited a hair salon, had his nails done, went shopping, and attended parties in Hollywood.
Friends said the 41-year-old was “obsessed” with her appearance – receiving regular Botox and IV injections to promote “natural health”.
Sangha is one of five people accused of “profiting” from the Friends star and his growing drug addiction.
The Legal Battle Ahead
Sources told The Washington Post that Sangha has had exploratory calls with at least two high-profile attorneys to discuss her options if she is charged in Perry’s death.
Ultimately, she decided to retain superlawyer Mark Geragos, who told NewsNation his client was not responsible for the actor’s death.
Sangha allegedly supplied Fleming with 50 vials of the drug in two separate transactions in October.
The indictment alleges that Sangha even gave Perry a “ketamine lollipop” with his order because it was too big.
Sangha pleaded not guilty in federal court in Los Angeles and was jailed without bail. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 8.
Geragos did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Washington Post.
