The Partnership between Strike and Bitstamp
Strike, the leading Bitcoin payments app developed by Jack Mallers, has teamed up with cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp to make purchasing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies more accessible to European users. This partnership aims to provide a seamless fiat-to-crypto onramp for customers in the EU, enabling them to easily buy assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Users will have a variety of payment options, including wire transfers, direct deposits, debit cards, and mobile money.
Expansion of Strike into Europe
In April, Strike expanded its services to Europe, marking a significant milestone for the company. Following this expansion, European users can now send, buy, sell, and withdraw Bitcoin using the platform. Eligible customers can withdraw Bitcoin to their self-hosted wallets or transfer funds to Lightning wallets. Additionally, the launch introduces peer-to-peer trading for Strike Europe users.
Collaboration with Kryptos for Simplifying Crypto Taxes
Bitstamp has also partnered with Web3 financial platform Kryptos to simplify cryptocurrency tax matters for users in various countries, including the UK, Portugal, and Australia. This partnership aims to streamline tax reporting and compliance processes for individuals trading cryptocurrencies on the Bitstamp platform.
